Othón Zermeño was born and raised in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. In high school, he developed a passion for acting so he started taking classes at a local theater. He knew then he wanted to be an actor, however he first studied Theology in Argentina for three years while being part of a Musical Theater ministry. After that, he attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, where he earned two Bachelor's Degrees: Theater Arts Acting and Broadcast Journalism. As a Theater major, Othon participated in several acclaimed theater productions including Shakespeare and playing characters such as Bernardo in West Side Story. As a journalism major, he was a news reporter and news writer for Liberty University’s newspaper “The Champion.” He also interned as a news writer at Central Virginia’s ABC 13 News where he was offered a job, however he declined knowing he wanted to pursue acting. After graduating, Othon moved to Los Angeles, CA to follow his dreams. As a bilingual actor, he became successful in the voiceover industry. To this day, he has voiced hundreds of commercials for several brands such as McDonalds, Verizon, Toyota, BMW, Corona, Lays, GoDaddy, AutoZone, Cricket Wireless, Bud-light, Jack in the Box, Just for Men, to name some. He has also dubbed characters in different TV series into both English and Spanish for networks such as Netflix, The Disney Channel, The Discovery Channel, MSNBC, etc. He also has experience in animation, narration and audio books.
